Midnight is a private, in-house application built and operated solely by ENT LLC, doing business as Edwards & Tate Construction. It is not offered, sold, or made available to the public, and access is restricted to authorized employees of Edwards & Tate Construction.
1. Scope
This policy describes how Midnight ("the Application," "we," "us") handles data when used internally by authorized personnel of ENT LLC, doing business as Edwards & Tate Construction ("the Company"). The Application is used only to prepare payroll and job-costing information for the Company's own business operations.
2. Information we access
Google account information — name, email address, and profile image, used solely to authenticate authorized users. Sign-in is restricted to the Company's Google Workspace domain (edwardsandtate.com).
QuickBooks Online / Intuit Enterprise Suite data — accessed through Intuit's API under OAuth 2.0 with the Company's authorization. This includes employees, classes, customers/projects, dimensions, and time activity records, used only to map and stage payroll time for the Company.
Workyard data — employee and time-card information, used to calculate hours for payroll.
Ramp data — transaction and accounting-field information, used (read-only) for job-costing and reconciliation.
Authorization tokens — OAuth tokens for the connected services, stored to maintain the Company's authorized connections.
3. How we use information
Data is used exclusively to provide the Application's functionality for the Company — pulling time records, calculating overtime, mapping projects to classes and dimensions, staging payroll entries, and producing job-costing reports. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the Company's internal payroll workflow.
4. How we store and protect information
The Application is hosted on Google Cloud (Cloud Run) in the Company's own cloud project.
All data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS.
Authorization tokens and application data are stored in Google Cloud (Firestore) with access restricted to the Company's cloud project.
Application access is limited to authorized users via Google sign-in and role-based permissions.
5. How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties. Data is exchanged only with the services the Company has explicitly connected (Intuit/QuickBooks, Workyard, Ramp, and Google) and only as needed to perform the Application's function. Each connected service handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Data retention
Data and tokens are retained only while the relevant integration remains connected and the Application is in use. Connections can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the service within the Application or within the provider's own settings (for example, disconnecting the app from within QuickBooks), which ends the Application's access.
7. Intuit / QuickBooks data
The Application accesses QuickBooks data only to provide its stated functionality for the Company and in accordance with the Intuit Developer Terms of Service. QuickBooks data is not disclosed to any third party and is not used for any purpose other than the Company's internal payroll and accounting workflow.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Application evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
